Returning library items at end of your studies

At the end of your time studying at Unitec, you are required to return all your library items. You will be reminded via email sent to your preferred email address, to return your loaned items within two weeks of your last class. You will be charged for all outstanding loans within a month of your final class.

Returning these items to the library will remove the outstanding fees from your Unitec account. Large outstanding fees may be referred to our debt collection agency.

We encourage you to speak to a library team leader if you have problems locating or paying for lost items.

Need to return library books?

At Mt Albert Campus there are two outdoor library return boxes. One return box is near Student Central outside Te Puna B180 doors - opposite the Copy Centre, and the other return box is by Breaktime opposite B183.
You can also return items to the Ask Me desk.

At Waitākere Campus you can return Unitec library items through the Waitākere Public Library returns slot and within the Unitec Library.
