Students can now pay library fines online through the
student portal.

Log into the student portal. (Students need to use your @myunitec.ac.nz email address)
- Go to My Tools
- Click on the Make a payment button. If you have a library fine, the total owing will be displayed.
- In the dropdown Payment for, select Library fines, and enter the amount you wish to pay. Click on Continue to payment.
- Fill in all information needed to complete the online banking process.
- If the payment has been successful, you will receive a Unitec Library Fine/Fee Payment Receipt when your library balance has been updated.
For details of your fines, log into
your library account in LibrarySearch (with the same details as the student portal).
Please do not pay a fee for a lost book if you think you have returned it. Contact library staff immediately. Do not pay the fee until you have discussed it with library staff.
If you cannot log into the student portal, you can make a payment at any Unitec library branch, or can use the internet banking instructions on
library fines and fees webpage.
