Unitec libraries go cashless from 30 April

With the changing world, the libraries at Unitec have decided to move away from accepting fine payments in cash.  This will enable better tracking of transactions, and remove the need to hold cash at public desks.

Through the student portal, students are able to make real-time payments.  These payments are reflected immediately in the library system.



Payment by EFTpos can still be made at the library / Ask Me desks in all library branches.

Easter Hours 2018

There are no classes taught at Unitec over the Easter break from 30 March to 3 April.  

 Unitec libraries, Ask Me desk and Student Central hours over this period are as follows:

Please note: when the library is closed, you can still return your items through the After Hours Returns slot.

• For Building 1 library, return your items to building 110 or Te Puna Library during operating hours above.
• For Waitākere library, use the Waitākere Public library after hour slot on level 1.
• These slots can only be used when the library is closed.
• Items returned through these slots will be checked in before the library is open next.  
• Laptops must be returned to the desk where it was issued.
