From 27 November Unitec Library/Ask Me services will be operating on summer hours.
Staff are available at both Te Puna and Waitākere from Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.Details of access to buildings over this time are given below
Saturday 26 November 2023 to 12 noon Friday 15 December 2023
- Te Puna: 7am to 6pm Monday to Sunday
- Waitākere: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday 16 December 2024 to Sunday 7 January 2024
- Te Puna: Closed
- Waitākere: Closed
Monday 8 January 2024 to Monday 5 February 2024
- Te Puna: 7 am to 6pm Monday to Sunday
- Waitākere: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Monday 29 January 2024 (Auckland Anniversary Day)
- Te Puna: Closed
- Waitakere: Closed
Tuesday 6 February 2024 (Waitangi Day)
- Te Puna: Closed

From Wednesday 7 February 2024, normal hours resume. See the Library Hours page
After Hours Returns slots
When the library is closed, please return your library items as below.
- Mt Albert (Te Puna): Items can be returned through the return box at the entrance by Breaktime/Subway, or through the return box at the entrance by Student Central.
- Waitākere campus: Items can be returned through the Waitākere Public Library after-hours returns slot.
- Laptops must be returned to the desk where it was issued.
